Health & Training Disclaimer

RunReserve provides fitness training and cross-training programming. RunReserve is not a substitute for medical care.

Not Medical Advice

Information provided through RunReserve — including workouts, training plans, communications, website content, videos, articles, and other materials — is provided for fitness and informational purposes.

It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, rehabilitate, or prevent any injury, disease, or medical condition.

Use of RunReserve does not, by itself, establish a physician-patient, physical therapist-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship.

Work With Your Healthcare Providers

If you are injured, experiencing pain, returning from an injury, or have a medical condition that could affect exercise, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional regarding your ability to train.

If a physician, physical therapist, or other healthcare provider has given you restrictions or instructions, those instructions take priority over a RunReserve workout or training recommendation.

RunReserve relies on you to accurately communicate relevant restrictions and changes in your condition.

Listen to Your Body

Exercise and physical training involve risk.

Stop or modify an activity if you experience unexpected or worsening pain or other symptoms that make continuing unsafe.

Seek prompt medical attention for symptoms that may require medical evaluation. For a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency service.

Do not continue a workout simply because it appears in a RunReserve training plan if your condition, symptoms, healthcare-provider instructions, or circumstances indicate that you should stop.

Individual Results Vary

Every runner, injury, training history, and recovery process is different.

RunReserve does not guarantee:

  • A particular recovery timeline.

  • That a particular exercise is appropriate for every injury or condition.

  • That training will prevent aggravation or reinjury.

  • That you will maintain a particular level of fitness.

  • A particular performance improvement.

  • A particular return-to-running or return-to-racing date.

Training recommendations are based on information available to RunReserve at the time they are prepared.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether you are physically able to participate in a workout and for performing exercises with appropriate technique, equipment, supervision, and environmental conditions.

You are also responsible for informing RunReserve about material changes to your restrictions or training situation.

When uncertain whether an activity is appropriate for your medical condition or injury, consult your physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional before performing it.

Third-Party Content

RunReserve may reference third-party equipment, services, websites, videos, or other resources.

A reference to a third party does not constitute medical approval, endorsement of every use of that product or service, or a representation that it is appropriate for your specific condition.
