Questions,
Answers.
What to expect from RunReserve, how your plan works, what equipment you need, and where medical care fits.
-
How do I start?
Book an evaluation. We’ll start with your current situation, any restrictions you’re working around, the equipment you have available, your schedule, and your goals. From there, we can determine what kind of training plan makes sense for you.
Do I need to already be working with a doctor or physical therapist?
Not necessarily. RunReserve provides structured training support — not diagnosis or medical care. If you are working with a doctor or physical therapist, your plan is built to respect the restrictions and guidance they’ve given you. Questions that require medical assessment or clearance stay with your healthcare provider.
What if my situation or restrictions change?
Tell us. Your training should reflect what is true now, not what was true several weeks ago. Upcoming workouts can be adjusted around changes in your restrictions, available equipment, schedule, or training capacity.
-
How is my plan actually built?
Your plan starts with what you can currently do. We use your restrictions, available equipment, schedule, goals, and training background to build a structured week with specific workouts, intensity, and progression — rather than handing you a generic list of cross-training options.
How often does my plan change?
Your plan evolves as your circumstances change. Check-ins and ongoing communication give us a chance to review how training is going and adjust upcoming sessions when needed.
What if something starts hurting during the week?
Don’t use RunReserve to diagnose a new or worsening problem. Follow the medical guidance you’ve been given and let us know what changed so upcoming training can be reconsidered within those restrictions. Anything requiring diagnosis, treatment, or medical clearance belongs with your doctor or physical therapist.
Does RunReserve replace my doctor or physical therapist?
No. RunReserve is designed to structure the training you can do while running is limited. Medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation decisions, and clearance to return to activity remain with qualified healthcare professionals.
-
What equipment do I need?
Whatever you already have access to. That might be a full gym, bike, rower, elliptical, pool, resistance bands, or just your own bodyweight. Your plan is built around what you have — not the other way around.
What if I don’t have any equipment?
That’s fine. Bodyweight training can be part of the plan when it fits your circumstances.
What if my equipment changes?
Let us know. If you’re traveling, change gyms, gain access to something new, or temporarily lose access to equipment, future workouts can be built around what is actually available.

How do I receive my workouts?
Your active training plan is delivered through your private RunReserve Slack channel, with the current week kept easy to find rather than buried in messages. The same channel is used for questions, updates, and coaching communication.
Do I need another training app?
No. RunReserve is intentionally designed to avoid making you learn another dedicated training platform. Your plan and coaching communication live in Slack.
How do I ask a question about my plan?
Use your private Slack channel. That keeps workout questions, plan changes, and coaching communication together in the same place as your current plan.
Not sure which plan fits?
Maintenance, Standard, and Performance differ primarily in how much weekly programming you receive. See the full comparison before you book.
Still have a question about your situation?
