Built by a runner who got tired of being told to “just cross-train.”

I'm Amie, founder of RunReserve and a sub-3-hour marathoner.

Running has given me structure, community, competition, and some of the best parts of my life.

Then injuries took much of that away.

Over a period of two years, I dealt with multiple injuries and surgeries that repeatedly disrupted my training.

The medical side had structure. The training side often didn't.

I heard the same advice injured runners hear every day: swim. Bike. Cross-train.

But there was no real answer to the question I cared about:

What should I actually do this week?

I had lost not only running, but the routine, progression, and sense of purpose that came with training.

The hardest part wasn't just being unable to run.

Training started feeling like training again

Cardio built around what I could do

The turning point came when my strength coach built cardio training specifically around my circumstances — the phase I was in, the equipment available to me, and the restrictions I needed to respect.

Instead of filling time until I could run again, I had structured training.

There was progression. There was purpose. There was something to show up for.

And that changed the experience completely.

YOU MAY HAVE TO PAUSE RUNNING.

But YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO LOSE
THE STRUCTURE OF TRAINING.

RunReserve was built to give injured runners the kind of plan I needed:

Personalized training built around your limitations — and designed to make the most of everything you still can do.

Specific, not generic
A plan that reflects your situation, your equipment, your schedule, and your goals.

Training, not filler
Cross-training should have structure, progression, and purpose — not just fill the days you can’t run.

Support matters
Being sidelined can be isolating. Having someone engaged in your training helps bring structure and momentum back.

IF YOU'RE SIDELINED AND WONDERING WHAT TO DO NOW, THAT'S EXACTLY WHY RUNRESERVE EXISTS.
